What makes a great real estate agent? I asked Google this exact question. In response to my question, strong communication and active listening skills, deep local market knowledge, excellent negotiation abilities, and a high level of integrity were among a lengthy list of attributes. All of these characteristics were well rooted with Amber from our experience, but what we appreciated the most was a great personality fit for our family. It was her personal attention and willingness to "hold our hand" during difficult times and stressful moments in buying and selling a home. We found that a good personality fit was important as it created more effective communication, problem solving conversations, and quickly built a foundation of trust.
